What is the Mass schedule?
Weekend Masses are on Saturday evening at 5:00 PM (Vigil Mass) and Sunday at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM. The weekday Masses are at 8:00 AM Monday; 6:45 AM and 8:00 AM Tuesday through Friday; and 8:00 AM on Saturday. When school is in session, we also have a 9:00 AM school Mass on Friday. When can I receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation?
Confessions are available Monday through Saturday, 7:40 to 7:55 AM and Saturday 4:00 PM to 4:50 PM and 7:30 to 8:30 PM. One can go to confession anytime by appointment.
Does Cathedral offer Eucharistic Adoration?
Yes! Currently, Eucharistic Adoration is offered in the small chapel, on the south side of the church. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed on Mondays, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Additional Adoration hours are offered on Fridays of Advent and Lent.

Our address is 520 Raymond Street, Bismarck, North Dakota 58501. We are in the downtown, historic Cathedral district.
How do I become a member of Cathedral of the Holy Spirit?
Our new parishioner registration form is available on this website under “Forms and Registrations” on the left menu bar. You can download this form and mail it or drop it by the parish office. Another option is to call the parish office, (701) 223-1033, to register over the phone, or you can also stop by and register in person. The parish office is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
How do I register for marriage preparation?
Contact the parish office, (701) 223-1033, at least 6 months prior to the wedding. Once this initial phone call has been made, you will learn additional information about our parish policies and the diocesan policies on pre-marriage requirements.
How do I have a child baptized?
Preparation for baptism can begin while you are still expecting! Please contact the parish office, (701) 223-1033, for details. Our pre-baptism class, Preparing for Baptism, is required for all first-time parents.
Does Cathedral of the Holy Spirit have a school?
Yes! Cathedral School is our parish school and is one of three, Catholic, K-8 schools in the city of Bismarck. The city also has a Catholic high school, St. Mary’s Central High School. How do I register my child for religious education classes?
Under the “Word” tab on the top of our website is an option for “Religious Education.” Check out this tab for additional information about our program offerings here at Cathedral. To enroll your child in religious education, contact the Religious Education Office, (701) 222-2259.
